Fields of Light
Bruce Munro took inspiration from a journey to Uluru through the Red Desert in central Australia. A deep connection to the energy, heat and light of the landscape began as simple sketches and a decade later became his first “Field of Light” art installation.
“I wanted to create an illuminated field of stems that, like the dormant seed in a dry desert, would burst into bloom at dusk with gentle rhythms of light under a blazing blanket of stars”.
