I don’t want to grow up
Axolotls are cute little water creatures that never grow up. While most salamanders go through a metamorphosis to transition from water life to land, Axolotls keep their cuteness and external gills and stay in the water.
What’s most remarkable about them is their ability to regenerate limbs and extremities when they are lost or damaged. Scientists are researching this super power in the hopes of one day assisting people with disabilities or amputations.
