Stronger together
The strength of spider silk has long been known. Despite all kinds of stresses like falling tree debris, resistance from trapped bugs and even hurricane winds, a spider web keep their structure.
One of the reasons a spider's web is so strong is that it behaves as a whole. when any part of a web is perturbed, the whole web reacts. A single thread will be sacrificed to protect the overall structure.
Humanity can learn from the spider and her web. The more we work as a whole, the stronger we are.
