The power of the wind
His parents couldn’t afford the $80 to send young William Kamkwamba to school in their small village in Malawi. With little more than ingenuity, imagination and a book he borrowed from the library, the young 14 year old figured out how to build a windmill so that he could generate electricity for his family.
