What did trees look like 350 million years ago?
A discovery of five ancient tree fossils in a quarry in the Canadian province of New Brunswick gives us a glimpse of what our world was like 350 million years ago. Because these trees were buried alive by an earthquake we now have a 3D perspective that helps us to understand the evolution of trees.
