Giant’s stairway to the sea…

Along the north shore of Northern Ireland, 40,000 interlocking basalt columns jut up from the earth. These natural hexagonally shaped stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea, resemble a giant’s stairway.

The Giant’s Causeway is a Unesco World Heritage site named the fourth-greatest natural wonder in the United Kingdom.
